9 Huru-hara Police Died In A Deadly Truck Accident In Malaysia
JAKARTA - The deadly sand truck accident killed nine members of the Federal Reserve Unit (FRU) or the Malaysian riot police.
The Head of the Silver Police, Noor Hisam Nordin, said information about the incident was received at 8:51 a.m., Tuesday, May 13.
"The FRU Unit 5 truck is on its way back to Ipoh after completing the task for the Chitrapournami festival in Intan Bay," Noor said in a written statement, Tuesday, May 13, quoted from Sinar Harian via Thesundaily.
Noor explained that the FRU truck carrying 18 members of the Malaysian riot police was hit by a sand truck on Chikus Street, Lampam River, Tuesday, May 13.
"When they arrived at the accident site, the FRU vehicle was hit directly by a sand truck," he continued.
Noor said that his party expressed deep sorrow for the accident experienced by this Malaysian riot police personnel.
"The Silver Police extends their condolences to the families of the victims involved," he said.
