Occupancy Of Badminton Reaches 80 Percent On Backflow Of Vesak Long Holidays

JAKARTA - PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC) noted that train occupancy from the direction of Padalarang and Tegalluar Summarecon to Halim Station was recorded to be above 80 percent on the backflow of the Vesak Day long holiday at thection service.

General Manager Corporate Secretary of KCIC, Eva Chairunisa said that as of 12.00 WIB, as many as 14,000 tickets had been sold, and this number is predicted to continue to grow until it reaches around 20,000 tickets until the last departure tonight.

Therefore, Eva appealed to passengers to prepare for a more careful trip, especially in taking into account the travel time to the station.

"We remind passengers to pay attention to the departure schedule and traffic conditions to the station. Delays arriving at the station can be at risk of trailing the train," Eva said in an official statement, Tuesday, May 13.

Eva said that in order to make the trip more comfortable and secure, passengers are also advised to immediately book tickets through the official KCIC application or website.

"By buying tickets online, passengers already have a seating certainty and don't have to queue when they arrive at the station," he said.

In addition, KCIC also encourages the use of intermodal transportation access that has been provided, one of which is the Feeder Train from the direction of Bandung and Cimahi.

"This mode is free of traffic constraints and has a schedule that is integrated directly with MAYash departures, so it is an efficient choice for passengers," he explained.

Eva also reminded passengers to be at the station at least 30 minutes before departure time. This is because the gate boarding to the platform will be closed 5 minutes before the scheduled departure, and late arrivals can cause passengers to fall behind in the train.
