Throwing Away The Code To Meet Prabowo, Megawati Is Considered To Need Guarantee Ahead Of The PDIP Congress

JAKARTA Researcher at the BRIN Political Research Center, Lili Romli, assessed that Megawati Soekarnoputri still needed security guarantees ahead of the implementation of the PDI-P Congress which is scheduled to take place in 2025.

According to him, this can be seen when Megawati, who allegedly threw a code at President Prabowo Subianto, took the time to meet after suddenly mentioning the fried rice which was claimed to be Prabowo's favorite food.

Lili admitted that the meeting of the two political figures was very important for both PDIP and Prabowo.

"For PDIP, of course, it is related to the continuity and smooth running of the congress, safe and no disorder. In addition, so that PDIP cadres do not get 'disturbations' both in the legislature and the regional head," he said, Sunday, May 11.

"On Prabowo's side, PDIP still needs support in various policies and programs, both in parliament and in government so that everything runs smoothly for the next five years," he continued.

He believes there will be no obstacles for these two figures to meet, considering that the history of the two is indeed close and familiar.

"Thus, if you meet again there will also be no psychological obstacles, because the two are close and familiar," said Lili.

Previously, Megawati seemed to give a code to ask for Prabowo's time to meet, by mentioning that she was often asked to cook fried rice, which was claimed to be Prabowo's favorite menu.

"Those who are still asking don't know who? It's a secret. Who? Hayo? The president goes back and forth asking, when will I make mba fried rice? President sopo yo? Yes, yes," he said while giving a speech at the Penganugerahan Trisakti Tourism Award (Tourism Award) at Grand Sahid, Central Jakarta, last Thursday 8 May.

Megawati said she was happy if she was asked to cook fried rice, especially for the president.

In fact, he also joked to the cadres who attended who wanted to enjoy his fried rice.

"That's really happy, isn't it later, who wants Mrs. Mega's fried rice? Yes, but pay, how come you don't pay, when I'm always in a depressed position," he said.
