Domination Is Key, Barcelona Prepares Strategy Ahead Of El Clasico

JAKARTA - Ahead of the fourth volume of El Clasico this season, FC coach Barcelona Hansi Flick wants his players to dominate El Clasico against Real Madrid at the Lluis Companys Olympic Stadium tomorrow Sunday at 21.15 WIB.

Flick wants Barca to use El Clasico's game to bounce back after being knocked out by Inter Milan in the Champions League semi-finals at the midweek San Siro on a 6-7 aggregate.

"We talk about what they (players) think, what they feel, it's important for us to talk about it as a team," Flick said at a press conference, quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 10.

"We want to be active, we want to see a team with intensity on the ground, dominant as usual," he added.

Barca have beaten Madrid three times this season, 4-0 each in October, 5-2 in the Spanish Super Cup finals in January, and 3-2 in the Copa del Rey final in April.

If Barcelona lose the match later, they stay at the top of the league standings with a difference of one point.

However, Flick said his team wanted to beat Los Blancos again for the fourth time this season, to widen the gap in the league to seven points, as well as bring them closer to the 28th league title.

"El Clasico is important to our fans, everyone, for Barca, for the players, for me, my coaching staff, it's great fun playing against them and competing with them," he stressed.

Barca got additional ammunition after Marc Casado and Alejandro Balde were declared fit.

Robert Lewandowski is also increasingly ready to play more after last Wednesday's match against Inter, last Wednesday as a substitute at the end of the second half
