Toyota Releases Enhanced Corolla Touring And Corolla Sport With Latest Features

JAKARTA - Japan's largest automotive manufacturer, Toyota inaugurated the launch of an upgraded version of Corolla Touring and Corolla Sport for the Sakura State market.

Interestingly, both Corolla Touring and Corolla Sport are no longer available in the pure gasoline (ICE) version or only provide a choice of Hybrid Electric Vehicle (HEV).

Launching from Car Watch, Saturday, May 10, these two models also have improvements by adding a number of features that are now standard such as digital key and the presence of a drive recorder.

Then, the driving sensor feature is also added to the presence of Blind Spot Monitoring which is now the standard for Corolla Sport and Corolla Touring.

Meanwhile, Toyota maintains the aspect of performance in this car by only providing 1.8 liter 4-cylinder engines combined with a hybrid system.

The heart will work together with special transmissions for hybrid, namely eCVT and 1.3 kWh batteries that contribute to reducing fuel consumption as well as low emissions.

In Japan, both Corolla Sport and Touring are assembled at the company's Takaoka and Tsutsumi factories located in the city of Toyota, Aichi prefecture.
