James Foley Director Of Fifty Shades Of Grey Dies At The Age Of 71

JAKARTA - James Foley, a film director who directed a lot of Hollywood films, was confirmed to have died this week at his home. Foley's representative revealed that the director had brain cancer and had been undergoing treatment for the past year.

Foley died at his residence in Los Angeles, United States. He is a director who directs films starring in Hollywood a lot.

He grew up in Brooklyn and started making films in 1984 with the film Reckless. He also directed Sean Penn in the film At Close Range.

Thanks to Penn's relationship, who was married to Madonna at that time, James Foley directed several Madonna music videos, namely Who's That Girl, Live to Tell, and True Blue. Foley uses another name to direct his music video.

His name began to be taken into account after he directed Al Pacino in the film Glengarry Glen Ross. Thanks to this film, Pacino got an Oscar and Golden Globe nominations.

He made a lot of noir-themed films that became the main genre in his story. Foley directed two sequels to the film Fifty Shades of Gray, played by Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan.
