Toyota Corolla Cross Comes With GR Sport Version, This Is Its Form

Toyota has confirmed that it will present an improved version of the Corolla Cross for the Australian market with the presence of the GR Sport variant.

Launching from the Toyota Australia page, Friday, May 9, the GR Sport variant will join types like GX, GXL, and Atmos. It distinguishes these types from others is that they look more sporty and dynamic.

The SUV is equipped with a different front bumper and the presence of a 'GR' emblem and a 19-inch dark rim makes the sporty element even thicker in this car.

Not only the display, but the Corolla Cross GR Sport for the Australian market is offered with all-wheel drive (AWD) drivers with exclusive features such as the presence of Sport driving mode, coil spring tuning and shock absorber specifically, as well as power steering electric.

The Corolla Cross will also have other updates such as a new integrated net grip design, and a revised LED forward light and has more color choices consisting of Massive Gray, Ink, Ash Slate, Shadow Platinum, and Fever Red, Glacier White, and Frosted White.

For Shadow Platinum color choices, Fever Red, Frosted White, and Ash Slate will have a dual-tone choice with a black roof on certain variants.

The Japanese automaker did not provide further details about the latest Corolla Cross, but the powertrain offered remains the same by relying on a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder machine combined with electric power drive as a hybrid internal power.

To be clear, Toyota will reveal more details about the latest Corolla Cross in the country's market in the second half of this year and is expected to go on sale afterwards.
