Get The Restu Of The DPR, The Ministry Of Transportation's Budget Increases To IDR 26.29 Trillion

JAKARTA - The Indonesian House of Representatives has approved an additional budget ceiling for the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub) 2025 from IDR 17.72 trillion to IDR 26.29 trillion.

This is in line with the opening of a budget block by the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu).

"The morning the efficiency results amounted to IDR 17.72 trillion, then the Ministry of Transportation received an additional IDR 8.57 trillion. So that the Ministry of Transportation's effective ceiling becomes 26.29 trillion. We have approved it, it can be carried out and we will agree on the program together," said Chairman of Commission V DPR RI Lasarus in a working meeting with the Minister of Transportation, Thursday, May 8.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Transportation, Dudy Purwagandhi, said that this additional budget would be used to ensure and optimize the availability of affordable transportation services and reach all parts of Indonesia.

"Most of the budget additions are for subsidies, then public service observations, and PPPK. Then there is also a launch budget from 2024," he said.

For your information, the Ministry of Transportation's budget has been revised several times. Initially, the Ministry of Finance set the Ministry of Transportation's budget of IDR 31.45 trillion in 2025. Then, the budget was revised in the context of efficiency, so that the Ministry of Transportation's effective ceiling became IDR 13.58 trillion in 2025.

Then, the efficiency budget was relaxed by reducing it by Rp4.14 trillion, so that the effective ceiling of the Ministry of Transportation 2025 to Rp17.72 trillion.

Then, the relaxation took place and the Ministry of Transportation received an additional budget of IDR 5.37 trillion. Thus, the Ministry of Transportation's effective ceiling became IDR 23.04 trillion.

In addition, the Ministry of Transportation also received a budget disbursement for the 2024 budget year of IDR 3.2 trillion. Thus, the Ministry of Transportation's effective ceiling becomes IDR 26.29 trillion.
