Minister Of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian: Berulah Ormas-Ormas Will Be Acted

JAKARTA - The Integrated Task Force for the Handling of Thugs and Ormas Relieves that it has been formed and will be led by the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs to participate in it. Minister of Home Affairs General (Ret.) Tito Karnavian said he would enforce existing regulations related to mass organizations.

Hal tersebut disampaikan kepada wartawan di Kompleks Istana Negara Jakarta, Kamis, 8 Mei. Tito Karnavian juga menyebutkan regulasi penindakan bagi anggota ormas sesuai dengan legalitas terdaftarnya. Jika berbadan hukum dan terdaftar di Kemendagri, maka sanksi akan diberikan pihak Kemendagri.

Furthermore, Tito Karnavian also said, if a mass organization is a legal entity but is not registered with the Ministry of Home Affairs, then sanctions will be given by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights. Meanwhile, if a criminal act occurs, the police will take action.
