Facing Vesak 2025, Borobudur Temple Prepares Parking Bags

JATENG - President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (TWC) Febrina Intan said, in the context of implementing Vesak 2569 BE, his party prepared parking lots in Borobudur Art Village and three parking bags in the community.

"So all parking is focused on Borobudur Art Village which can accommodate 600 four-wheeled and 60 buses and 200 two-wheeled vehicles," he said in Magelang, Central Java (Central Java), Thursday, May 8, which was confiscated by Antara.

However, there are three parking bags that are ready around Borobudur that can accommodate between 500-600 vehicles.

He conveyed that in anticipation that in the event of a large number of vehicles, his party had cooperated with the police to regulate traffic, so that no nodes would occur that could cause traffic jams around Borobudur during activities.

"We inform our social media about the routes that must be traversed, so where should people come, where to go, and what to do," he said.

Deputy Chairperson of the National Vesak Committee 2569 BE Karuna Murdaya conveyed that social services (baksos) in the context of Vesak 2025 will be held on 10-11 May 2025.

"The target for social assistance is between 7,000-8,000 patients, the more is better," he said.

He conveyed that the social service activities in the form of free health checks were still being carried out at Borobudur Lumbini Park, except for the cataract operation which would later be carried out at the hospital.
