Google Presents Gemini App For IPad, Can Download On App Store

JAKARTA After almost a year and a half of being launched, Google finally introduced the iPad version of Gemini. All of the Apple-made tablet users can now download Gemini on the App Store.

This is good news for iPad users who want to try Gemini. Previously, iPad users were able to access Gemini, but it didn't look so good because it was designed for the iPhone.

Gemini development on Apple devices is indeed running slowly. The company is too focused on apps on Android, while users on iOS and iPadOS can only access Gemini through the Google app instead of the Gemini app.

In November last year, Google finally launched the iOS version of the Gemini app and removed the support for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in the Google app. Of course, apps designed for iOS are different from apps for iPadOS.

If iPad users want to use the Gemini app, they can only operate the application as a letterbox phone. This means that users must use a small keyboard because of the iOS system.

Even though it works well, the experience won't feel good. Users have to look at interfaces that aren't so good that the best alternative is to visit Gemini's website, either in Safari or other browsers.

Fortunately, this problem was solved thanks to the launch of a dedicated application for the iPad. Quoted from 9to5mac, Google introduced this app as an 'full-screen iPad app that has been optimized'.

Users will get a wider app display. In addition, the interface also adapts the iPad more, both in landscape and portrait form. User Interface (UI) on the iPad is very similar to UI Gemini for Android-based tablets.
