First Electric Car Launches, Polytron Target For Dealer Network
JAKARTA - After launching its first electric car, Polytron immediately stepped on the gas to build a network of dealers spread across various regions in Indonesia, and it will be different from the existing electric motorcycle showroom.
This was revealed by the Commercial Director of Polytron, Tekno Wibowo, who said the company is targeting to build eight showrooms specifically for selling electric cars.
"Earlier, I mentioned that for this year we are targeting eight new showrooms specifically to sell cars," said Tekno, when met on the sidelines of the launch of Polytron's electric car, in the Central Jakarta area, some time ago.
Furthermore, Tekno revealed, for the initial stage the company had discussed with several networks of dealers who were indeed interested, and were still in the purchasing stage.
"For the initial stage, there are already several dealers who are interested," he added.
Later, the first eight showrooms that Polytron will present will target several major cities in Indonesia, including four on the island of Java, such as Jakarta, Semarang.
"There are four showroom networks in Java, there are also in Semarang, Bandung and Surabaya," he explained.
