More Harley Style Motors Especially From China, JLM Auto: Harley Lovers Are Loyal Like Religion
JAKARTA - The Indonesian premium motorcycle industry is now decorated by a brand from China showing off a model inspired by the Harley-Davidson brand.
For example, Benelli, who is now under the parent company Qianjiang Motorcycle or QJMotor, has a line of models from Leoncino such as 250 and 500.
QJMotor also has a classic retro-style line marketed in the country, such as SRV 250 AMT and SRV 600 V Cruiser with a more dashing design.
Even though the competitors have a model line that resembles a Harley-Davidson design, PT JLM Auto Indonesia is confident that its products are still in demand by motorcycle touring lovers or long distances.
Sales and Marketing Director of PT JLM Auto Indonesia, Irvino Edwardly said that Harley-Davidson customers and lovers themselves have a strong emotional side of his love for the brand.
"I see Harley-Davidson lovers seeing this brand as religious, for example some people have 'Bar and Shield' tattoos. That is, how emotional our customers are with brands," said Irvino during an interview with the media in Kuningan, Jakarta, Monday, May 5.

Irvino also believes that the Harley-Davidson brand can continue to grow in time by providing motorcycles that are acceptable to all circles.
"We firmly believe Harley-Davidson will continue to grow, see market needs but without eliminating its classic image," added Irvino.
He also explained that with the brand experience that has existed for 122 years, his party believes Harley-Davidson customers and lovers will not turn to other motorcycle brands.
"Harley is a legend and iconic bike, one of the oldest motorcycle, has been present in the world for more than 122 years. Of course, it is not something that is easy for a company to maintain their preferences and interest in a long period of time," concluded Irvino.
