Opera Launches Latest Tab Management System On Android
JAKARTA Opera introduced the latest tab management system for its browser on Android devices. This personalized tab system is available in Opera version 89.
Through its official website, Opera says that this latest tab management system includes a tab gallery layout with the latest features. Users can access custom options, Tab Islands recognition, search for open tabs, or disable the tabs.
"Today's update makes Opera a leading mobile browser for tab management, providing Android users with complete tools to set their tabs without feeling overwhelmed," said VP Opera Products for Android Stefan Stjernelund.
Stefan added that on average Opera users like to use tabs so they want to improve their experience. The reason is, not a few users ask for new ways in managing tabs in their browsers.
"Many of our users like tabs and have asked for new ways to use them. As usual, we listened carefully and followed up today by releasing the most complete tab management system of all cellular browsers," Stefan explained.

Opera had become a popular browser in its time before Google Chrome emerged and outperformed the market. Opera was the first browser to introduce a browser tab in 1996, then refined in 2000.
Initially, this feature was referred to as Multiple Document Interface before turning into Tabbed Document Interface. Over time, this feature changed its name to 'tab' only.
This latest tab management system is also Opera's effort to continue to innovate. The company wants users to interact more with its platform without feeling any problems. What's more, this new tab management offers a more minimalist feature.
