Ministry Of MSMEs And Creative Economy Discuss HKI Opportunities As KUR Guarantees
JAKARTA - The Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) together with the Ministry of Creative Economy (Kemenekraf) are exploring and discussing opportunities for certificates of Intellectual Property Rights (HKI) as collateral for access to People's Business Credit (KUR) for MSMEs, including creative economy activists.
MSME Minister Maman Abdurrahman said the creative economy sector (ekraf) has great potential, but often faces obstacles in accessing financing because the character of its products is intangible or intangible.
"So far, many creative economy actors have extraordinary ideas and concepts but do not have physical assets to work on. We agreed to encourage HKI certificates, such as brands, designs, and digital works, to be used as KUR financing guarantees," said Maman, Wednesday, May 7.
