Encourage Clean Energy And Modern Electricity Infrastructure, PLN UID Greater Jakarta And Banten Provincial Government Synergize
SERANG - PLN UID Jakarta Raya strengthens strategic cooperation with the Banten Provincial Government to realize clean energy and an organized electricity system. The audience was held at the Banten Provincial Government office, Tuesday, May 6, to discuss crucial issues about new and renewable energy, waste management, and electrification of remote areas.
During the meeting, General Manager of PLN UID Jakarta Raya, Moch. Andy Adhaminordin emphasized PLN's readiness to support the development of clean energy and sustainable electricity services in Banten. "We are ready to become a strategic partner of the local government, including supporting the electrification of Pulau Panjang and Pulau Tunda," said Moch Andy Adhaminordin in a written statement received Wednesday, May 7.
PLN UID Jakarta Raya itself serves part of the Banten area through three Customer Service Implementation Units (UP3): Cengkareng, Bintaro, and Ciputat.
Banten Governor Andra Soni highlighted the importance of converting waste into energy. He expressed full support for the development of waste to energy-based generators. "Dispute management must provide benefits, not just throw away, but can be converted into alternative energy that is environmentally friendly," he said.

Also present at the hearing were PLN management from the Banten and West Java regions, as well as officials from the Banten Province ESDM, Environment and Agriculture Office. One of the main focuses is the integration of the PLTSA development plan into the national RUPTL so that it can be realized concretely.
With this meeting, PLN UID Jakarta Raya and the Banten Provincial Government agreed to strengthen coordination and collaboration in order to accelerate the realization of a reliable, green and inclusive electrical system, and support sustainable development.
