BGN Boss Reveals Employees Have Not Received Salaries
JAKARTA - Head of the National Nutrition Agency (BGN), Dadan Hindayana, revealed that employees at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) have not received salaries since the Free Nutrition Food (MBG) program was launched on January 6, 2025.
He conveyed this during a hearing (RDP) with Commission IX of the DPR RI, at the Parliament Building in Jakarta, Tuesday, May 6.
"It is necessary for ladies and gentlemen (Members of Commission IX of the DPR) to know that the entire structure of the Nutrition Agency has not yet received a salary," he was quoted as saying in the YouTube broadcast of Commission IX of the DPR RI Channel.
He estimates that the ranks of employees in BGN will only receive salaries between May and June.
"We (BGN employees) may only receive salaries this month or next month so that the disbursement for these employees is faster after next month," said Dadan.
Meanwhile, the salaries of Indonesian Development Mobilization Scholars (SPPI), nutritionists, and accountants who are members of the MBG program have been given from this year's BGN budget ceiling with a total of IDR 71 trillion.
The Nutrition Agency, he continued, only has a budget of IDR 71 trillion. To this day, said Dadan, his party has only been able to absorb IDR 2.38 trillion.
"Only about 3.36 percent. Related to new employees, 0.01 percent. So this is why the absorption is still low because what we have just spent (paid) for Indonesian Development Driving Scholars (SPPI), nutritionists, and accountants," continued Dadan. As for the absorption of the MBG program, Dadan himself said that it was only realized by 4.16 percent. Then, for nutritious food itself, only 4.16 percent, for capital is still zero percent because we are still entering the planning stage," he said.

Until December 2025, BGN is targeting budget absorption of IDR 116 trillion to provide services to 82.9 million MBG beneficiaries.
Meanwhile, for now, the budget is only IDR 71 trillion, so BGN is asking for an additional IDR 50 trillion.
"So if you follow the mechanism that we have planned, you will need a budget of IDR 116.6 trillion to provide services to 82.9 million (beneficiaries). So if there is now IDR 71 trillion plus IDR 50 trillion, it will be enough to serve all beneficiaries until December," explained Dadan.
