JAKARTA Microsoft drew controversy when introducing the Recall feature. The reason is, the feature powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) can remember everything its users do.
Recall when you find out where Windows 11 users store their files, what app they last accessed, and other activities. This can be done because Recall stores a desktop snapshot every five seconds.
When the user asks Recall, whatever information it is, the feature will look for the information with the snapshot data they have. Users can ask questions in a natural language.
Apart from the fact that this feature attracts a large enough storage capacity, users are worried about privacy concerns. They don't want the data to be read, let alone stored, by the AI feature. Therefore, not a few users are disturbed by the Recall.

Fortunately, Microsoft provides the option to disable the feature. Users can take the following action if they are disturbed by their data taken by the snapshot.
