JAKARTA - Rockstar Games announced it will delay the launch of the Grand Theft Auto (GTA) IV to May 26, 2026, from what was previously planned for this year.

Rockstar stated that this delay was needed to ensure the high quality of the game and meet the expectations of the players.
They emphasize the studio's commitment to high quality standards and avoid excessive work pressure for developers.
"We would like to thank you for your support and patience as we try to finish this game," he explained further.
The studio continues, With every game we release, the goal is always to try and surpass your expectations, and Grand Theft Auto VI is no exception.
GTA VI will set in the fictitious state of Leonida, inspired by Florida, with its main city, Vice City, reflecting the atmosphere of Miami.

There are no further details regarding GTA IV, but when it is launched later, this game will be present for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series console players.
