Wanting To Break The Record, SpaceX Successfully Launches 54 Rockets In Five Months

JAKARTA SpaceX is a space company that often launches. This is driven by the company's target, which is to break records with 175 to 180 launches this year.

Based on data shared by Space Explored, SpaceX has launched 54 rockets since the start of the year. The company owned by Elon Musk has three types of rockets, but so far, SpaceX has only launched two types of rockets.

SpaceX has flown Falcon rockets 52 times and Starship rockets twice. The majority of launches were carried out to put Starlink in low-Earth orbit. Of the total launches, only 17 were non-Starlink missions.

All Falcon rocket launches reach a 100 percent success rate with an average launch every 2.35 days. This means that SpaceX often launches the rocket.

However, in contrast to the launch rate, the landing rate did not work 100 percent. SpaceX had experienced several obstacles during the Falcon landing process so that the rocket only had a landing success rate of 98 percent.

Of the 52 Falcon launches, 42 rockets have landed on drones and 9 have landed on Earth's surface. Meanwhile, Starship's launch was not too much this year as the company was trying to get approval from the Federal Aviation Agency (FAA).

SpaceX wants to get a license for 25 launches within a year, with an average launch every two weeks. That way, Starship testing will not be hampered.
