SCM Inaugurated In Bogor! Cak Imin Sasar Program For Online Judicial Victims To Persons With Disabilities

BOGOR Bogor City is designated as a pilot project for the Community-Based Social Empowerment and Rehabilitation program through the launch of the Independent Creation Center (SCM) which will take place on Monday, May 5, 2025.

This program is an initiative of the Coordinating Ministry for Community Empowerment (Kemenko PM) under the leadership of Muhaimin Iskandar, who is familiarly called Cak Imin.

In his remarks, Cak Imin emphasized the importance of cross-sectoral collaboration to deal with increasingly complex social problems. SCM is presented as an integrated social service center targeting vulnerable groups, such as people with disabilities, people with mental health problems, and victims of online gambling.

"This Independent Cipta Center in Bogor City is part of a cross-sectoral collaboration pilot initiated by the philanthropic sector and welcomed by various government and non-governmental institutions," Cak Imin told reporters after the launch.

This program involves various institutions, such as the National RSJ Marzoeki Mahdi, BPJS Ketenagakerjaan, a number of state-owned banks, Baznas, and the Coordinating Ministry for Human Development and Culture itself.

The collaboration aims to encourage the independence of vulnerable communities through a productive and sustainable approach.

Cak Imin hopes that SCM Bogor can become a national model that can be replicated by other provincial, district and city governments. I hope this becomes a center that can be imitated by all local governments, with the spirit of collaboration and mutual cooperation," he said.

In addition to introducing SCM, Cak Imin also conveyed the development of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) debt elimination and settlement program which is currently underway.

He acknowledged that the data verification and synchronization process was still a challenge, but the program continued with cross-ministerial coordination and national banking.

"There have been so many, tens of thousands of MSMEs whose debts have been successfully resolved through this program. And we will continue through improvements and a better verification system," he said.

Meanwhile, Bogor Mayor Dedie A. Rachim stated that the launch of SCM was an implementation of Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Number 8 of 2025 concerning Optimization of the Implementation of Poverty Reduction and Elimination of Extreme Poverty.

"The presence of SCM will be an empowerment embryo in the region, which is divided into several working groups to improve the quality of human resources," explained Dedie.

SCM Bogor stands on an area of 2,600 square meters. In it there are various work groups, such as early detection services for non-sufficiency and mental health, Siliwangi Waste Bank, integrated agriculture, art studios, taklim assemblies, to MSME activities.

Dedie is optimistic that the existence of this working group will drive the local economy and have an impact on improving people's lives as a whole.
