VOI Today: The History Of Prabowo-Owned Relations, Eratic From The 1978 Timtim Operations To The 2024 Presidential Election

JAKARTA - The friendship of the Chairman of the GRIB Jaya mass organization, Rosario de Masrhal alias Hercules, has a long history with President Prabowo Subianto. Hercules even said he owed his life to Prabowo.

Hercules met Prabowo in 1978, after Hercules' parents died, was hit by the Seroja operating bomb, a military operation in East Timor led by Prabowo as Danjen Kopassus. Hercules joined the TNI Kopassus Operational Assistance Force (TBO) in charge of transporting logistics to participate in small battles.

In 1985, Hercules' helicopter crashed. He was taken to Gatot Subroto Army Hospital, Jakarta for surgery. Hercules chose to settle in Jakarta and form a gangster or gang of thugs in Tanah Abang with East Timorese.

Hercules had a duel with Jawara Betawi Haji Lulung, Bang Ucu Kambing to John Kei and Basri Sangaji. His gang grew widely throughout Indonesia.

In 2012, Hercules founded the United Indonesia People's Movement Organization (GRIB) and Prabowo was appointed as the GRIB Board of Trustees.
