Samsung Again Separates Galaxy S26 Processors! Exynos 2600 Only For Europe?
JAKARTA Samsung is rumored to be bringing back a separation of processors within the Galaxy S26 lineup. According to the latest rumors, the models sold in Europe will use Exynos 2600, while other markets will get variants with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2. Although this is still a speculation, this decision is reminiscent of Samsung's old strategy in distinguishing chipsets by region.
Every year, speculation about processors in the Galaxy S line keeps popping up, and there's almost always a debate between Snapdragon and Exynos. Now, the latest rumors say that the Galaxy S26 will return to using these two chipsets to bring back processor separations based on the market.
According to reports, the Exynos 2600 will only be used for Europe, while models with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 will be available in other regions.
Reportedly, Samsung made this decision because of production constraints in the 2nm manufacturing process for Exynos 2600. This is not the first time Samsung has only released the Exynos variant in Europe. A similar strategy has been implemented in the Galaxy S series before.
However, many users in Europe are unhappy with this policy in the past. Why? Because usually Exynos lag behind Snapdragon in terms of battery life, performance, and camera processing. History shows that Snapdragon chipsets are often superior in various aspects.

The question now: Can Exynos 2600 compete with Snapdragon 8 Elite 2? To date, details about Exynos 2600's performance are still unknown, making it difficult to predict whether Samsung has improved its technology so that it can compete better.
All we know is that Samsung completely missed the Exynos 2500, which makes the Galaxy S25 only use the Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Galaxy. This decision cost Samsung up to 400 million US dollars, so the company wants to change the strategy for the next model.
With the re-Separation between Snapdragon and Exynos, Samsung seems to want to re-maintain their own chipset line.
