Supporting IPPA Fest 2025, BRI Strengthens The Empowerment Of Inmates

JAKARTA - PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BRI continues to strengthen its role in encouraging inclusive and sustainable economic development through its support for the implementation of the Indonesian Prison Products and Arts Festival (IPPA Fest) 2025.

This event was held by the Ministry of Immigration and Corrections (Kemenmipas) on April 21, 2025 at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta, with the theme "Creation Beyond the Bars" as a symbol of the spirit of unlimited creativity.

"This event carries the theme Creation Beyond the Bars which provides a strong statement that creativity can never be imprisoned," said Minister Imipas Agus Andrianto when opening the IPPA Fest in Jakarta, Monday.

According to Agus, the IPPA Fest is not only a celebration, but also a reflection of the long journey of the Directorate General of Corrections in fostering inmates to return to being part of a useful society.

IPPA Fest 2025 is a national-scale festival featuring the best work of Correctional Inmates from all over Indonesia. Through a training and skills development approach, this event is a means to show the products of economic value during the coaching period. BRI's involvement reflects the company's commitment to supporting the skills development process and opens access to wider economic opportunities for inmates.

On a separate occasion, BRI Corporate Secretary Agustya Hendy Bernadi emphasized that BRI's involvement in the 2025 IPPA Fest is part of the company's long-term commitment to driving financial inclusion and social aspects as a whole.
