Indonesian Fund 2025 Officially Opened, Government Prepares IDR 465 Billion For Cultural Advancement
JAKARTA - The government has re-opened the registration of the 2025 Indonesianna Fund, with an allocation of Rp465 billion. This program, which is managed by the Ministry of Culture together with the Education Fund Management Institute (LPDP), is one of the main instruments in strengthening the promotion of national culture in a sustainable manner.
The Indosaiana Fund was officially launched by the Minister of Culture Fadli Zon at Graha Utama, Building A, 3rd Floor, Ministry of Culture, Monday, May 5. In the event, Fadli emphasized the importance of the Indonesiana Fund as proof of the presence of the state in supporting cultural preservation and innovation.
"Without the support of public funds, many local cultural practices can be marginalized and even lost. Indonesian funds are present as the state's commitment to preserving legacy, as well as encouraging cultural innovation," said Fadli.
This year, the Indonesianna Fund targets more than 1,000 beneficiaries, including individuals, communities, and cultural institutions. Funds are channeled from the management of the Endowment Cultural Fund, which has now reached IDR 5 trillion since it was first rolled out in 2021.
The Director of LPDP Research Facilitation, Ayom Widipaminto, said that the basic value of funds continues to grow through a careful and sustainable investment strategy. "We want this Abadi Fund not only to be large in nominal terms, but to have a real impact through innovative and inclusive programs," he said.
