Honda CR-V Now Has Offroad Variants, This Is What It Looks Like

JAKARTA - One of the automotive manufacturers from Japan, Honda has officially expanded its CR-V ranks in the United States (US) by presenting a Hybrid TrailSport variant that has a tough offroad form.

The CR-V TrailSport Hybrid model is expected to attract customers in the country and can maintain the SUV as the best-selling Honda model in Uncle Sam's country.

Honda National Auto Sales Assistant Vice President Jessica Laudermilk said this car not only has a tough design but is also equipped with environmentally friendly technology from its hybrid drive.

"Combination of strong design elements and capabilities, extraordinary dynamics on the highway, and hybrid driving systems make the Honda CR-V SUV more attractive than ever before," he said on the manufacturer's official website, Monday, May 5.

Carrying the off-road theme, the CR-V Hybrid TrailSport is equipped with all-field tires with touch of all exclusive terrains, such as silver skidranish which adorns the front facilities, black rear spoilers, as well as a door handle and ambient windows decorated with dark colors.

Honda gave him a Continental CrossContact ATR armchair measuring 235/60R18 as the standard mounted on Shark Gray's 18-inch rim. To reinforce his formidable impression, this CR-V is decorated with an orange "TrailSport" emblem on the grip and backdoor.

The CR-V TrailSport Hybrid is equipped with a number of other features such as a heating front seat, heating steering wheel, moonroof, 10.2-inch digital instrument screen, 9-inch touch screen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, wireless phone charger, and electric backdoor.

In order to support off-road driving, the manufacturer with the "H" logo is also upright in presenting it with the "Honda Real Time AWD with Intelligent Control System" system, making it easier for the CR-V to run in difficult areas.

Just like other hybrid variants, the Honda CR-V TrailSport Hybrid is armed with a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder engine joining two electric motors that provide up to 204 hp and 334 Nm torque.

The Honda CR-V TrailSport Hybrid will begin to be distributed to local dealer networks starting this spring, along with other 2026 models.
