Tengku Dewi Admits Disappointed Andrew Andika Without Permission To Introduce A New Couple To Children

JAKARTA Tengku Dewi, the ex-wife of actor Andrew Andika, expressed her disappointment after learning that her ex-husband introduced her new partner to their child without mutual consent. Tengku Dewi assessed that the action should involve the decisions of the parents.

"What I feel honestly is a bit disappointed, right (Andrew Andika introduces a new partner to the child). Because this involves children, it means that it has to be related to decisions from both parties, not just side by side," said Tengku Dewi, quoted from Instagram @rumpi_ttv, Sunday, May 4.

He revealed that previously he had given a warning when he learned about Andrew's plans to go to Bali with his new partner. He asked that their son, Ehsan, not be introduced to his father's partner first in order to maintain his child's psychological condition.

"Previously I had time to remind you like he went to Bali, I know he and his new partner, I had reminded you that for example if you want to take Ehsan for a walk, please don't introduce him first, because I'm afraid the child is confused. Is that right?" he continued.

"Because even though I was a child, I really knew the character of my son, my first child was a little bit, not quiet, he was really smart and critical. Surely even though he didn't talk, I knew for sure something would happen later," continued Tengku.

He also shared that he had asked for advice from friends who had similar experiences, and the majority suggested that the introduction of new partners to children should be done slowly and with mutual consent.

"And I also learn from friends who have experienced this, I ask, it's best to take time, but without my permission the father likes to go on, doesn't come but invites him to walk, playsdate because this couple has children," he explained.

This unilateral action made Tengku Dewi feel disappointed and ignored by Andrew Andika, even though he had tried to express his objections directly.

"I was disappointed, I also expressed my disappointment, but I don't think it was heard," he concluded.
