President Promises All Schools To Get Television Assistance From The Government
JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto promised all schools in Indonesia to receive television assistance from the government to accelerate digitalization in schools in mid-2026.
"I want the digitization of schools. We will put television screens in each of our schools. There we can provide the best lessons," said President Prabowo in his remarks on the 2025 National Education Day commemoration (Hardiknas) at SDN Cimahpar 5, Bogor City, West Java, Friday, May 2, reported by ANTARA.
The President assessed that this television assistance would be very useful, especially for schools in 3T or underdeveloped, frontier, and outermost areas.
In addition to facilitating learning in the 3T area, President Prabowo hopes that television assistance will also help students who have difficulty getting lessons through teachers who are experts in their respective fields of education.
The Head of State targets that in the next two months, the television aid will be received in schools. Then by mid-2026, all schools in Indonesia have received government tv assistance.
"We hope that my target is that in one year, in mid-2026, all schools in Indonesia can get the television screen," said the President.
In supporting learning in schools, President Prabowo also plans to gather hundreds of the best teachers to teach in schools throughout Indonesia.
"We will gather several hundred of the best teachers. We focus on a studio and he will teach all schools throughout Indonesia. This helps teachers in all schools throughout Indonesia," said Prabowo.
