Mendikdasmen Siap Bagikan Ribuhan 'Smart Board' Perkuat Digitalisasi
JAKARTA - Minister of Basic and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti said that his party is ready to distribute 15,000 smart boards or interactive whiteboards to strengthen digitalization in teaching and learning activities in schools.
His party has prepared a budget of IDR 2 trillion for the implementation of the program, which is ready to be used for the provision of smart boards, televisions, and training for teachers to operate these facilities.
"Assistance for schools or smart classes that we can help with providing smart boards, television, and also providing training for teachers. The budget allocation is IDR 2 trillion, and God willing, this year we will start realization for 15,000 educational units," said the Minister of Education and Culture Abdul Mu'ti after the peak commemoration of the 2025 National Education Day at SDN Cimahpar 5, Bogor City, West Java, Friday, May 2.
He explained that the implementation of the program also did not rule out synergy with the Social and Environmental Responsibility Program (TJSL) belonging to private institutions or companies.
This synergy, said the Minister of Education and Culture, is to ensure the implementation of programs to strengthen the digitization of education evenly in all schools in Indonesia.
"Because there are still few, maybe it can't be evenly distributed. But we will also cooperate with CSR, which also helps us. How much, we will tell you later," said the Minister of Education and Culture.
Abdul Mu'ti and President Prabowo Subianto have launched four priority education programs, including the construction and renovation of 11,440 schools to various assistance for teachers.
The 4 educational programs that have been launched on National Education Day (Hardiknas) 2025, are:
1. School Revitalization
School revitalization is one of the 4 programs that will be launched by the Ministry of Education and Culture with President Prabowo Subianto at the 2025 National Education Day. Previously, the Minister of Education and Culture Mu'ti said there would be 10,440 educational units that would participate in the school revitalization program.
The program has an allocation of funds of Rp 16.9 trillion which was obtained from the transfer of funds from the Ministry of Public Works (PU) to the Ministry of Education and Culture.
2. Digitization of education
Digitization of education is a program related to providing smart boards to schools. Mendikdasmen Mu'ti emphasized that funding for this program has been prepared and remains to be executed.
3. Lecture Assistance for Teachers
Mendikdasmen Abdul Mu'ti said the assistance program was intended for teachers to complete education up to D4 or S1 levels. Teachers will receive education assistance per semester of IDR 3 million.
4 Assistance For Honorary Teachers
Finally, his party will launch a program related to assistance for honorary teachers. Meanwhile, Abdul Mu'ti said honorary teachers would receive IDR 300 thousand per month.
