2 People Died In A Member Of The House Of Representatives Car Accident On The Pemalang Toll Road

SEMARANG - Police said two people died in a car accident carried by DPR member Alamudin Dimyati Rois at KM 315 Pemalang-Batang toll road in Petarukan, Pemalang Regency, Friday morning.

Acting Head of Public Relations of Pemalang Police, Ipda Widodo Apriyanto, confirmed the case of an accident between the car carrying a member of the DPR and a truck.

He explained that the incident began when the Toyota Kijang Innova H 1980 CM drove from west to east.

When he arrived at the scene at around 02.40 WIB, the car that was traveling in the right lane tried to overtake a vehicle in front of him.

"The car tried to overtake from the left, but it turned out that in front of it it was driving the truck from the same direction," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, May 2.

According to him, due to too close distance, the collision of the two vehicles was unavoidable.

He said DPR member Alamudin Dimyati Rois and car driver were injured and receiving treatment at the hospital.

As for the other two passengers, each Vicka Novitasari (41) and Muhammad Balya (57) died at the location and were evacuated to the hospital for further treatment.
