Ramon Cardenas Determined To Surprise Naoya Inoue
JAKARTA Boxer from the United States, Ramon Cardenas, has a big deal to do in the fight against Japanese champion Naoya Inoue this weekend.
The two names have now arrived in Las Vegas, United States, ahead of their fight. They plan to clash at the T-Mobile Arena, on Sunday, May 4, 2025, evening local time.
Cardenas will seek to win its first world title and seek to make a big surprise in Texas, while Inoue will defend the undisputed junior featherweight title.
"I'm not here for money. I'm here for inheritance. If I become world champion, no one can take it from me," Cardenas said as quoted by Top Rank.

Cardenas was present to bring a record 26 wins (13 knockout wins) and one defeat. He entered this big game by risking 14 straight wins of his.
Meanwhile, The Monster 'julukan Naoya Inoue' currently holds the World Boxing Associate (WBA) boxing world title, International Boxing Federation (IBF), World Boxing Council (WBC), and World Boxing Organization (WBO).
This is the first time Inoue has returned to the United States since the last time he fought there about four years ago against Michael Dasmarinas at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas.
"It's been four years since I've been here, so I'm very happy. I'm very aware of what fans expect from me. I plan to fulfill that hope," said Inoue.
So far Inoue has never lost a total of 29 fights that have been spent. Of these, 26 of them were through knockout.
