Not Only Sophisticated, Geely EX5 Has The Highest Safety Level From Euro NCAP

JAKARTA - Geely EX5 shows its ability in the automotive world by gaining the title of five stars' safety in the Euro New Car Assessment Program (Euro NCAP) testing.

These results prove that this electric crossover not only has sophisticated devices, but is also equipped with qualified safety and security features for its users.

According to information received on Friday, May 2, the car was hit by Euro NCAP at the TECCON located in Austria and carried out independently through a series of stringent tests.

Meanwhile, quoted from the official Euro NCAP website, testing the "adult occupation" category got a score of 86. These results were obtained because EX5 had a sturdy structure after experiencing a series of hard collisions during the testing period.

However, this independent institution found that the safety of rear passengers was considered weak, especially in chest protection based on the reading of Dumamy compression.

In the "child occupation" test, protection for children aged 6-10 was optimized well which got a score of 87 after passing the frontal offset test and side barrier test.

EX5 comes with a child prevalence detection, which warns drivers that a child or baby is left in the vehicle.

In the "vulnerable road users" test, this one car got a score of 83 after being deemed to have a good level of protection for other road users.

Not only that, Geely EX5 is equipped with the Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB) feature which can respond to road users and other vehicles in front.

Unfortunately, what needs to be considered is that the protection of the front glass pillar is considered rigid and can endanger pedestrians when the vehicle is hit.

Finally, on the "safety assist" the score is 83 after it has a capable safety feature, including the presence of the AEB and the seatbelt reminder system.

Geely EX5 has a "driver status monitoring" system that is tasked with monitoring and detecting fatigue or disturbances in the driver while driving his car.

In addition, this one car is also equipped with a lane support system which is claimed to be able to gently correct lanes and speed assistance systems to identify speed limits.
