Workers Crowd The Parliament Building Area, Access To Exit The DPR/MPR Direction Toll Road Is Temporarily Closed
JAKARTA - PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk together with the police have opened and closed road access to the DPR/MPR Building.
This was due to the mass of workers who packed and took action in front of the Parliament Building during the commemoration of Labor Day, which took place on Thursday, May 1, 2025.
"Representative Office 2 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) as the manager of the Jakarta City Inner Toll Road and Jasamarga Tollroad Operator (JMTO) with the Police carried out traffic security due to the action of conveying aspirations by workers around the MPR/DPR Building," said Senior Manager Representative Office 2 Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad, Ginanjar Rakhmanto, in his statement, Thursday, May 1, 2025.
"As a form of anticipation, for the discretion of the Police, starting at 12.18 WIB, Slipi Exit access (MPR/DPR) on KM 09+650 of the Inner City Toll Road is enforced to open and close temporarily," he said.

Ginanjar said, the action, which began this morning, began to be crowded with the masses, causing congestion around the Inner City Toll Road, especially ahead of exit access to the Senayan Toll Road or DPR/MPR.
"Jasa Marga apologizes for the inconvenience that has occurred. For the sake of security, for the time being, road users are advised to avoid the Inner City Toll Road, especially around the Semanggi and Senayan areas until the end of the action," he said.
Labor Day, 1,500 Nuju Monas Vehicles
On Labor Day, Jasa Marga noted that 1,500 vehicles were observed to be heading to the Monas area, Central Jakarta.
Senior General Manager of Jasamarga Metropolitan Tollroad Regional Division, Widiyatmiko Nursejati, said that as many as 193 buses crossed the Cipularang Toll Road, 199 buses via the Jakarta-Tangerang Toll Road, and 72 buses crossing the Jagorawi Toll Road to the Monas area.
Some of them received police escorts to maintain order and smooth traffic on toll roads.
"In total, both bus and nonbus vehicles, JMT recorded a total of more than 1,500 vehicles having crossed several toll gates (GT) to Monas areas such as GT Halim, GT Cililitan, GT Cawang, and GT Tomang," he said.
