Samsung Launches The Galaxy M42, Comes With 5G Support And A 5000 MAh Battery
JAKARTA - Samsung has released its newest smartphone, the Galaxy M42 5G. The mobile phone from the M series was launched in India. Reportedly, this M42 cellphone is the first M line phone to be equipped with 5G network support.
A battery with a capacity of 5000 mAh also complements the Galaxy M42 5G cellphone. In addition, this phone is also equipped with an Infinity U screen design for a 20 MP selfie camera case.
The Galaxy M42 comes with a Super AMOLED screen measuring 6.6 inches. The Galaxy M42 phone is equipped with four cameras on the back of the body. The main camera has 48 MP resolution, 8 MP ultrawide camera, 5 MP macro and a 5 MP depth sensor.
The Samsung Galaxy M42 uses a Qualcomm chipset, the Snapdragon 750G 5G, combined with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage space. The internal memory can also be expanded with additional microSD memory.
Launching the GSM Arena, the Galaxy M42 5G smartphone runs the Android 11 operating system with the One UI 3.1 interface that has become a characteristic of Samsung phones. There is also an NFC feature, Bluetooth 5.0, an on-screen fingerprint scanner, 4K video support and Hybrid Dual SIM and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
The Samsung Galaxy M42 5G is available in two color choices, namely Prism Dot Black and Dot Gray. This phone goes on sale in India on May 1, 2021.
The Galaxy M42 5G RAM 6GB / 128GB is priced at 21,999 Rupees or the equivalent of IDR 4.3 million. While the M42 5G cellphone for the 8GB / 128GB RAM variant sells for 23,999 Rupees or the equivalent of IDR 4.7 million.
However, until now Samsung has not officially announced whether this new cellphone will be launched in Indonesia or not.
