Launching The Third Quarter Of 2025, Wuling EV Van Will Be Produced Domestically
JAKARTA - Wuling has made the 2025 Periclindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS) a stage to introduce its newest electric vehicle called EV Van.
Although it was recently introduced, the vehicle targeting the commercial market will be produced locally at the Wuling factory in Cikarang, West Java, this was revealed by Marketing Operation Director of Wuling Motors Ricky Christian.
"Wuling EV Van will be produced locally at the Wuling facility in Cikarang, because all electric vehicles sold in Indonesia are domestic production," said Ricky, when met some time ago.
He said that Wuling would immediately pursue the Domestic Component Level (TKDN) of 40 percent, and he hoped that the electric vehicle would receive tax incentives from the government.
"Wuling has also made local public investments, and of course our focus will continue to maximize existing facilities," continued Ricky.
In specifications, Wuling EV Van comes with a length dimension of 5,010 mm, a height of 1,960 mm, a width of 1,800 mm with a cargo capacity of 6.5 m3. This vehicle is equipped with a 56.2 kWh battery capable of traveling a distance of 400 km.
Unfortunately, Wuling has not yet removed the price sheath of the electric vehicle, but the launch will certainly take place in the third quarter of 2025, and it is estimated that the price will be announced simultaneously.
