Shell Fuel Price Drops, Shell-Power Becomes IDR 12,730 Per Liter

JAKARTA - The oil and gas company Shell Indonesia lowered the price of fuel oil (BBM) type Shell Super, which was originally set at IDR 12,920 per liter in April 2025, to IDR 12,730 per liter starting today, May 1, 2025.

Quoting Antara, here are the details of changes in price from Shell fuel. For Shell V-Power type fuel, there was a decrease of Rp. 200 per liter, from Rp. 13,370 per liter, to Rp. 13,170 per liter.

Furthermore, for Shell V-Power Diesel fuel, there was a decrease of Rp250 per liter, from Rp14,060 per liter on April 1, 2025, to Rp13,810 per liter since May 1, 2025.

Then, for Shell V-Power Nitro+ fuel, there was a decrease of Rp190 per liter, from Rp13,550 per liter on April 1, 2025, to Rp13,360 per liter since May 1, 2025.

PT Pertamina (Persero) also announced an update on the price of fuel oil (BBM) for certain areas effective from May 1, 2025, with non-subsidized fuel types Pertamax and Dex Series experiencing price declines.

Like in Jabodetabek, the price of fuel in the area has changed. Dexlite (CN 51) to Rp13,350 per liter or decreased by Rp250 per liter from the previous Rp13,600 per liter.

Pertamina Dex (CN 53) to Rp13,750 per liter or decreased by Rp150 per liter from the previous Rp13,900 per liter.

Meanwhile, the price of fuel, namely Pertamax (RON 92) to Rp12,400 per liter or decreased by Rp100 per liter from the previous Rp12,500 per liter. Pertamax Green (RON 95) to Rp13,150 per liter or decreased by Rp100 per liter from the previous Rp13,250 per liter.

Pertamax Turbo (RON 98) to Rp13,300 per liter or decreased by Rp500 per liter from the previous Rp13,500 per liter.

Meanwhile, the price of fuel that did not experience a price change, namely Pertalite (assuming) IDR 10,000 per liter and Biosolar (subsidy) IDR 6,800 per liter.
