MMS Group Indonesia Wins The Best Corporate Transparency And Emission Reduction Award 2025

JAKARTA - MMS Group Indonesia (MSGI) has reiterated its commitment to environmental sustainability by winning a prestigious award at The Best Corporate Transparency and Emission Reduction Award 2025 from Investortrust.id. This event was held on Tuesday, April 29, at the Sultan Hotel, Jakarta.

In the event, MMSGI was awarded Ruby's category for high awareness of its emission impact as well as its reduction initiative and Green's category of full transparency in measurement and real achievement of emission reduction.

Through its subsidiary, PT Multi Harapan Utama (MHU), MMSGI shows consistency in the management of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. Measurements were carried out for direct (Scope1) and indirect (Scope 2) emissions across the operating line with reference to the IPCC Guidelines for National Green House Gas Inventories (2006).

Various emission reduction efforts were also carried out actively, ranging from efforts to reduce energy consumption, revegement, rehabilitation of watersheds, to participation in the purchase of carbon credit in the inaugural trade of IDX Carbon.

Selama 2023, pengurangan emisi mencapai ~273k tonCO2e melalui upaya revegetasi, reklamasi, dan rehabilitasi DAS, pengurangan emisi dan pengurangan konsumsi energi menyumbangkan. MMSGI juga merupakan salah satu partisipasi dalam perdagangan perdana IDX Carbon dengan membeli 1.250 ton CO2 eq dari proyek geothermal milik PT Pertamina Geothermal Energy Tbk.

Through initiatives such as the implementation of the Daily Consumption Monitoring (DCM) for the 777D/E anniversary, more careful fuel management (refueling) and utilization of used oil, MHU has succeeded in reducing energy consumption while reducing emissions. MHU has also implemented the ISO 50001:2018 Energy Management System which has an impact on emission reduction.
