PT KBI Records Resi Resi Resi Transaction Value Reaches IDR 2.8 Trillion In 2024

JAKARTA - PT Kliring Berjangka Indonesia (PT KBI) as part of the BUMN Holding Danareksa noted that the value of warehouse receipt transactions reached Rp2.8 trillion throughout 2024.

President Director of PT KBI, Budi Susanto said that this value came from the issuance of 1,058 warehouse receipts. And driven by increased commodity futures trading activities, especially foods, both soybeans and rice.

Budi said the warehouse receipt center also recorded a transaction volume growth of 120 percent on an annual basis or year on year (yoy).

"PT KBI recorded the issuance of 1,058 warehouse receipts with a transaction value of Rp2.871 trillion," he said in a media gathering, in Jakarta, Wednesday, April 30.

In addition to warehouse receipts, Budi said that the volume of futures contracts also grew by 10.5 percent on an annual basis or yoy. Meanwhile, the company's revenue increased by 25 percent compared to the same period the previous year.

"The net net profit is also (up) 22 percent. So in 2024 the year is solid for KBI, all business lines will grow in 2024," he said.

On the other hand, Budi said that in supporting the company's performance, KBI also applies the concept of Triple Bottom Line (TBL) by maintaining the alignment of people, profit, and planets (3P).

He also said the transformation of technology-based services was key to increasing customer satisfaction to 89.5 percent in 2024, up 2.6 percent from the previous year.

"The 2024 achievement is a stepping stone for building a transparent and sustainable commodity ecosystem," he said.
