TNI Commander Mutasi 237 Pati Including Pangkogabwilhan I Putra Try Sutrisno

TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto rotated, rotated, and promoted 237 high-ranking officers (pati) from three TNI dimensions, including Lt. Gen. Kunto Arief Wibowo, who originally served as Commander of the Joint Regional Defense Command (Pangkogabwilhan) I, became the Special Staff of the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Army (KSAD).

Lt. Gen. Kunto, son of the 6th Indonesian vice president Try Sutrisno, was transferred according to the Decree (SK) of the TNI Commander Number Kep/554/IV/2025 which was signed by TNI General Agus in Jakarta, Tuesday (29/4).

Head of the Indonesian National Armed Forces Information Center (Kapuspen) Brigadier General Kristomei explained that mutations and rotation of positions are normal because they are part of personnel development as well as to answer the challenges of tasks that continue to grow.

"This mutation is part of the personnel development system as well as the organization's need to answer the challenges of the tasks that continue to grow," said Brigadier General Kristomei as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, April 30.

Of the 237 high-ranking officers who are included in the latest list of mutations, rotations, and promotions, 109 are high-ranking officers, including those from the land dimension (TNI AD), 64 other high-ranking officers from the Indonesian Navy, and 64 are from the Indonesian Air Force.

The TNI Commander, in his latest decree, also gave a promotion to Rear Admiral TNI Hersan, who originally served as Commander of Fleet Command (Pangkoarmada) III to fill the position of Pangkogabwilhan I.

Laksda Hersan was the aide to the 7th president of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo in 2014 with the Chief of Staff of the Indonesian Air Force (KSAU) Marshal TNI M. Tonny Harjono and permanent lecturer at the Defense University Lt. Gen. Widi Prasetijono. Hersan is the last to get a three-star promotion compared to two other former Jokowi aides in 2014.

Not only Pangkogabwilhan I, another strategic position that is also included in the list of the latest mutations of the TNI Commander, among others, Pangkoarmada III (which is based in Sorong, Southwest Papua), is currently filled by Admiral TNI H. Krisno Utomo, then the Commander of the Military Cross-Seaval Command (Pangkolinlamil) is currently filled by Admiral TNI Rudhi Aviantara IH, then several regional BIN (Kabinda) heads.

The position of Kabinda East Kalimantan is currently filled by Colonel Inf. Priyanto Eko Widodo, who received promotions from his previous position as an Intelligence Agent for the Madya Expert, then Kabinda North Sulawesi is currently filled by Colonel Arm. Jonny Marpaung, who also received promotions from his previous position as Head of Operations for the North Sulawesi Regional BIN.
