Allegations of defamation are known to be regulated in Articles 310 and 311 of the Criminal Code. Meanwhile, Article 27A, Article 32, and Article 35 of the ITE Law which are also used in the report regulates changing, transmitting, or manipulating other people's electronic documents.

In the report, the reported party is said to be still under investigation. However, Yakup emphasized that there were five people suspected of committing criminal acts behind allegations of fake diplomas.

"Yes, it is also suspected that it was carried out by several parties, yes, maybe the initials, if I may convey it, there is a hospital, then an ES, there is also an initials T, there is an initials K as well," he said.

In addition, dozens of video recordings have also been submitted to investigators as initial evidence in reporting. Not clearly conveyed about the video footage but allegedly showing the five people suspected of committing non-criminal charges related to allegations of fake diplomas.

"All the evidence that we have submitted, the events, there are 24 videos, around 24 objects that Pak Jokowi has reported as well," said Yakup.

Previously reported, Jokowi explained the reason for reporting false diploma accusations to the police. Just so that the problem becomes clear and clear.

"Yes, this is actually a minor matter, yes, it is a matter of alleged fake diplomas. But it does need to be brought to the realm of law so that everything is clear and clear," said Jokowi.
