Turun Gunung Lapor Tudingan Ijazah Fake, Jokowi: Memang Harus Saya Sendiri Datang

JAKARTA - The 7th President of the Republic of Indonesia, Joko Widodo, has come down the mountain to report allegations of fake diplomas to the Polda Metro Jaya. The reason is because the problem is a complaint offense.

"Yes, it's a complaint offense, I really have to come myself," Jokowi told reporters at Polda Metro Jaya, Wednesday, April 30.

Complaint offenses are a type of crime that can only be processed legally if there are complaints from victims or people who feel aggrieved. This complaint is an absolute requirement to start the criminal prosecution process against the perpetrators of the crime.

In the reporting process, Jokowi also underwent an initial examination. It is said that dozens of questions were raised by the investigative team against him.

"Yes, he was asked a lot, asked how many was it? 35 (questions)," he said.

Although he did not specify the questions raised to him, Jokowi said he was willing if his diploma was later examined forensically for proof of his authenticity.

"If necessary, please, what is clear is that we have brought it to the realm of law," said Jokowi.

Previously reported, Jokowi explained the reason for reporting false diploma accusations to the police. Just so that the problem becomes clear and clear.

"Yes, this is actually a minor matter, yes, it is a matter of alleged fake diplomas. But it does need to be brought to the realm of law so that everything is clear and clear," said Jokowi.

According to him, the new legal steps were taken as a solution to allegations of fake diplomas because the issue continued to grow and became increasingly massive.

It is known that this issue was heard when Jokowi was still the President of the Republic of Indonesia.

"Yes, still in office first, I think it's finished. It turns out that it is still protracted, so that it is brought to the legal realm, it will be better so that once again it will become clear and clear," he said.
