Kirk Hammett Calls Metallica Will Be Very Happy If You Have The Opportunity To Concert In Sphere

JAKARTA - Kirk Hammett admits his admiration for Sphere in Las Vegas, a show venue that was used to hold U2 concerts, Phish, and The Eagles.

The 62-year-old guitarist said Metallica would be very happy if the opportunity came to hold a concert in Sphere.

"Oh, of course!" Hammett said when asked about Metallica considering appearing in Sphere, in a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter.

The guitarist called Sohere an example of how the music performance venue has changed, with its successful production giving the audience a different experience.

"It's a great example of how the venues change. It uses modern technology completely, to actually increase production and entertainment levels, connect with AI and make it an amazing experience," added Hammett.

Regarding the performance at Sphere, NME praised the U2 concert there, stating that the show had brought the concert experience to a different level, and provided a good balance while ensuring music remained at the forefront.

The latest news has also confirmed that a new Sphere show venue will be built in the United Arab Emirates capital, Abu Dhabi.
