Minister Of Religion Proposes Construction Of Hadith Museum In RI
Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar proposed that the Hadith Museum be built in Indonesia which he delivered at the 4th Conference of the Hadith Nabawi Institution in Medina, Saudi Arabia.
"I propose the construction of the Hadith Rasulullah Museum in Indonesia as a country with a very large Muslim population," said Nasaruddin Umar in a statement quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 29.
During the conference, the Minister of Religion became Indonesia's representative in the Supervisory Board of the Hadith Nabawi Institution in Medina.
The King Salman fostered institution consists of scholars from various countries. Every year, the Supervisory Board holds four hearings.
Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar has been listed as the Supervisory Board of the Hadith Institute for three years. The institution is directly responsible to King Salman as the highest leader in Saudi Arabia.
"This museum will later become a kind of hadith discussion institution, not only from a legal point of view, but also from a point of view of the Prophet's style," he said.
According to the Minister of Religion, there are many hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad who explain various ways of treatment. This needs to be done more in-depth development and study.
"So, the hadith study will develop not only in the legal aspect, but also in other substantive messages. Hopefully this Hadith Museum can be realized in Indonesia," he said.
At the previous conference, Minister of Religion Nasaruddin Umar proposed the existence of an international level Musabaqah Hadith. The proposal has now been used as a program for the Saudi King's Hadith Institute.
"Alhamdulillah, through this institution, Indonesia can contribute to ideas and thoughts. God willing, this can be enjoyed by Muslims around the world," he said.
"Hopefully the proposed construction of the Hadith Museum can also be realized by the Hadith Institute owned by King Salman so that later it can be enjoyed by the Indonesian people in particular," said the Minister of Religion.
