Police Arrest 4 Teenagers Armed At By Pass Ngurah Rai

The Kuta Police Sector, four teenage boys who were involved in a criminal case of violent theft (begal) armed on Jalan By Pass Ngurah Rai, near the Bali Mandara toll gate, Tuban, Kuta, Badung Regency, Bali.

Head of the Public Relations Section of the Denpasar Police, AKP Ketut Sukadi, said four teenage boys were arrested not long after the incident on Saturday (26/4) in the early hours of the morning.

The perpetrators are DCY (16), RWXT (17), SAP (17), and KKI (15).

The disclosure of the case was based on a report from the victim, Dengi Ronda (25), a student, who was targeted by a gang of robbers when he came home from work at around 02.00 WITA.

"The victim was forced to stop by the perpetrators who used two motorbikes, then pointed at with an Airsoft Gun firearm," Sukadi said as quoted by ANTARA, Tuesday, April 29.

In addition to taking the victim's valuables, the perpetrators also hit the victim using a gun handle, causing injuries to the jaw and mouth.

For this incident, the victim suffered a loss of Rp. 2.5 million. The items confiscated included wallets containing important documents, cash, motorcycle keys and a cell phone.

Based on the police report number LP/B/61-IV/2025/SEK KUTA/RESTA DPS/POLDA BALI and the results of the rapid investigation, the Kuta Police Opsnal Reskrim team under the leadership of Ipda I Putu Santhi Adnyana managed to secure the perpetrators in the Kuta Central Parking area at around 04.00 WITA.

From the results of the interrogation, the perpetrators admitted that they had carried out similar actions in several other locations in Kuta and admitted that they used the proceeds of crime for their daily needs and were busy.

The evidence that was successfully secured included two motorbikes, three mobile phones of various brands, and a black Airsoft Gun unit used to threaten the victim.

Meanwhile, Kuta Police Chief AKP Agus Riwayanto Diputra stated that his party would complete the investigation of this case, coordinating with the Public Prosecutor (JPU) for further legal proceedings.

"We are committed to maintaining the security of the Kuta area from all forms of crime, especially ahead of the holiday season which increases tourist activities," he said.

Currently, the four perpetrators and evidence are secured at the Kuta Police to undergo further legal proceedings.
