Hasan Nasbi Mundur, Jubir Prabowo: Kepala PCO Harus Punya Empati Dan Simpati

JAKARTA - The chairman of the Gerindra Party DPP as well as spokesman Prabowo Subianto, Dahnil Anzar Simanjuntak, responded to Hasan Nasbi's resignation from the position of Head of the Presidential Communication Office or PCO. Dahnil admitted that he did not know Hasan Nasbi's considerations for resigning.

"I don't know what the considerations are, but what is clear is that we respect whatever decision Mas Hasan made," said Dahnil, Tuesday, April 29.

Regarding the replacement for Hasan Nasbi, Dahnil said that only President Prabowo knew the most. He also mentioned the corrections conveyed by President Prabowo regarding the government's communication pattern.

"Of course, first, according to the needs of the President and the President, who know best the communication pattern that the President wants to build and what is clear is that one of the corrections from the President is the communication problem," said Dahnil.

Dahnil said the President had submitted corrections to communication from the spokesman in the cabinet. He said that all members of the Red and White Cabinet were also asked to convey good communication.

"Frankly, the President did self-correction yesterday. What is clear is that the President will determine the latest policies related to communication patterns," said Dahnil.

Dahnil said the president asked that there should be no multiple statements in the future. He also said that the criteria for the Head of PCO must prioritize empathy and sympathy.

"Even yesterday when we were summoned, all cabinet members had to convey good communication to the public, so that there should be no communication that had multiple interpretations, so the sensitivity of sensitivity was lacking," he said.

"So empathy must be empathy, sympathy. That is what the President has roughly conveyed," added Dahnil.

Reportedly, Hasan Nasbi, Head of the Presidential Communication Office (PCO), resigned from his position in the Red and White Cabinet.

Hasan admitted that he had submitted his resignation since April 21, 2025. His resignation letter was sent to the President of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto through the Minister of State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya.

"Today, April 21, 2025, it looks like it has arrived. My resignation letter signed and I sent it to the president through two of my best friends, the Minister of State Secretary and Cabinet Secretary," Hasan said via Instagram @totalpolitikcom, quoted on Tuesday, April 29.
