Oleksandr Usyk Reveals Daniel Dubois' Weak Point
JAKARTA Oleksandr Usyk said Daniel Dubois' actions pushed him on the face-off to promote their duel was a weak point for his England opponent.
The two big names have agreed to clash to fight undisputed heavyweight champions which will take place on July 19, 2025 at Wembley Stadium, London, England.
The day after their fight was confirmed, the couple met for a photo session at the location of the match. At that meeting, Dubois couldn't stop himself and then pushed Usyk's chest.
The security officers immediately calmed the two boxers down before Usyk turned around and laughed at Dubiis. However, he acknowledged that his candidate had increased rapidly.

"I think he has improved, Daniel won the IBF belt, has beaten three great fighters. He is a world champion, tough guy, dangerous guy," Usyk was quoted as saying by BBC Sport.
Even so, Usyk said Dubois had a mental setback because he had pushed him.
"I mentally or not, pushing me is a weakness," said Usyk.
Usyk and Dubois previously met in the ring in August 2023. The Ukrainian champion won the controversial duel with knockout (KO) in the ninth round.
Dubois actually managed to make Usyk in pain and fell in the fifth round. However, the 27-year-old fighter's blow was claimed to be invalid by referee Luis Pabon because it was too low.
The referee then gave Usyk relief to recover for about five minutes. Dubois also felt that he was rigged because he did not feel a low blow.
"Ini adalah adalah aku yang baru, rasa takut untuk bertindak dengan cara tertentu sudah ada lagi. Sekarang, saya hanya perlu melakukan apa yang harus saya lakukan, ini adalah permainan perjuangan, ini adalah konjuangan," ujar Dubois.
After losing against Usyk, Dubois managed to bounce back with three wins. The record began by defeating Jarrell Miller in December 2023 at the Kingdom Arena, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
Dubois then managed to win the IBF belt which was vacated by Usyk by defeating Filip Hrgovic. He then managed to defend the belt by defeating Anthony Joshua at Wembley.
Meanwhile, Usyk hasn't boxed since beating Tyson Fury in Saudi Arabia in December 2024. Prior to that, he was first undisputed world champion in the first match with Fury in May 2024 at the same place.
In the clash against Dubois later, Usyk will try to keep the 23 matches unbeaten while trying to become world champions undisputed for the second time.
If they succeed in defeating Usyk, Daniel Dubois will automatically become the first British boxer to successfully win the world in the era of four belts.
The last boxer from England to become the undisputed heavyweight world champion was Lennox Lewis. The title was won in 1999 when they beat Evander Holyfield.
