Amazon Q Developer From AWS Now Supports Indonesian Language
JAKARTA Amazon Web Services (AWS) announced its new language support for Amazon Q Developer. The generalized Artificial Intelligence Assistant (AI) now supports many languages, including Indonesian.
According to AWS, the addition of this new language plays an important role in advancing developers or local developers. Now, developers will have no trouble writing codes, building solutions, and exploring ideas with comfortable language.
Amazon Q Developer is also more reliable in understanding Indonesian. This assistant can type technical terms or language mixtures, such as the merger of English and Indonesian. Unfortunately, AWS does not explain how much the total language can be mixed.
"Meski begitu, sebagian fitur seperti Q CLI dan kiosk IDEA (di Q Developer) saat ini masih memberikan respons dalam Bahasa Inggris. Kami ingin tetap transparan dalam menyampaikan kemampuan dan ketambatasan yang ada saat ini," jelas AWS dalam keterangan yang VOI terima pada Selasa, 29 April.

The addition of this language is done to advance Amazon Q Developer. According to IDC estimates, more than half of the new applications in 2028 will be developed using natural language, not just code row preparation.
Therefore, AWS wants to support this prediction. Its generative AI assistant can be at the forefront of building natural language-based applications. Later, developers can focus on developing their creativity and problem solving applications.
Q Developer can be used to check developer-made codes instantly and detect potential errors. Not only doing both, Q will also explain the causes and various improvements that developers need to make.
