14 Years Ago, Apple Releases White IPhone 4 Which Was Delayed For 308 Days

JAKARTA Apple managed to change the mobile phone industry by launching the iPhone 4. This device comes with a more contemporary design, a high-resolution Retina screen, and advanced features like FaceTime.

However, the journey of the iPhone 4 is not that short. This device comes in two color choices, namely black and white. Surprisingly, the black iPhone 4 was launched first, while the white one had to be postponed for some time.

Not just a few days, the color has been delayed for several months. This is quite surprising because at that time, no one thought that the delay would take a very long time.

The iPhone 4 was introduced in June 2010, but the color it can buy is only black. Some fans postponed their purchase plans because of the white color that was not yet available. However, after a few weeks of waiting, Apple gave bad news.

The company says that white is more difficult to produce than black. Therefore, they prioritize black sales while trying to produce other color choices.

"A new Apple 4 iPhone model is shown to be more difficult to produce than expected, and as a result, the model will not be available until the second half of July. The availability of more popular black iPhone 4 models was not affected," Apple said at the time.

However, the longer it looks forward to, the choice of white color will not be available. At the end of July, Apple admitted that it was still difficult to produce this color. The bad news is that the white iPhone 4 'will not be available until the end of 2010'.

The white iPhone 4 was just launched into various Apple markets in April 2011, exactly 10 months after the black was launched. This is the longest time Apple needs to develop an iPhone due to color problems.
