Huawei Watch 5 Leaks Reveals Mysterious Health Censors Ahead Of May Launch

JAKARTA - A leak of official Huawei Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4 images has been circulating on the internet, revealing the latest design and presence of a mysterious health sensor. This new smartwatch is planned to be introduced at the Huawei launch event in Berlin on May 15.

Huawei recently announced the "Innovative Product Launch" event held on May 15 in Berlin. From its official teaser, the Chinese company will most likely launch the Watch 5 and Watch Fit 4 series.

Based on the leaks circulating, the Huawei Watch 5 retains a circular design like its predecessor, but with an additional oval window on the right which is suspected to be a new health sensor. This sensor function is still a mystery, it could be in the form of a fingerprint scanner or revolutionary health monitoring technology.

This smartwatch will come in a variety of color choices, including gold/beige, blue, white, green, and black. Huawei also provides a stainless steel, silicon, and cloth strap option.

According to leaks, Watch 5 will be equipped with various health monitoring features such as SpO2 sensors, heart rate measurements, set-up counters, and burned calories. This series will be available in two sizes: 42mm and 46mm.

Meanwhile, the Watch Fit 4 does not appear to have undergone any significant design changes from the previous series. This smartwatch still carries a square screen with slightly thick bezels at the top and bottom. A striking difference is the position of the microphone which is now more prominent than Watch Fit 3.

The price of the Huawei Watch 5 is predicted to start at 499 euros (around Rp9.5 million), while the version of the "Pro" is likely to be announced simultaneously. If this leak is accurate, Huawei is ready to present serious rivals to Apple Watch and the Samsung Galaxy Watch.

Although its function has not been revealed, the presence of a new sensor in Watch 5 sparked speculation. Some predictions mention possible features like:

Non-invasive glucose scanner

Early detection of certain symptoms of disease

Advanced stress monitoring technology
