PT Hutama Karya (Persero) received a contract of IDR 282.16 billion for two health infrastructure projects, namely the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) of Bima City, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) and Sanana Hospital in Kepulauan Regency, Sula, North Maluku.

To build these two hospitals, Hutama Karya implemented the concept of Building a Green Building (BGH) with a focus on efficiency in the use of energy and environmentally friendly certified materials (Eco Labeling).

Executive Vice President (EVP) Corporate Secretary Hutama Karya Adjib Al Hakim explained that these two projects are part of the Health Best Product Program (PHTC) initiated by the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) to expand access and improve the quality of health services in the regions.

"Through the construction of the Bima City Hospital and Sanana Hospital, Hutama Karya is committed to supporting government programs in increasing the capacity of regional hospitals, especially in remote areas," said Adjib in a written statement, Monday, April 28.

"These two hospitals will be upgraded from Type D to Type C, so that they can provide more comprehensive health services for the local community," he continued.

Adjib explained that the Bima City Hospital Building had been built on an area of 2.5 hectares on Jalan Soekarno Hatta, West Sababaompu Village, Raba District, Bima City.

With a contract value of Rp130.3 billion, this hospital will have a building area of 7,557 square meters consisting of 3 floors and 1 roof floor with a completion target by the end of December 2025.

Meanwhile, the Sanana Hospital will be built worth IDR 149.6 billion on an area of 3.75 hectares and a building area of 7,400 square meters consisting of buildings 2 and 3 floors plus a rooftop in Blocks A1, A and A2 with a target of completion by the end of December 2025.

These two hospitals will be equipped with various health facilities according to standard Type C hospitals, including basic specialist services such as internal diseases, surgery, midwifery and children.

In addition, this hospital will also be equipped with modern facilities such as operating rooms, ICUs, NICUs, complete laboratories and advanced radiology equipment.

"As a Type C hospital, these two hospitals will have the ability to provide basic specialization services, so they can handle more complex medical cases without needing to refer patients to hospitals with higher service rates," said Adjib.
